ETF News - Largest US ETF Launch Ever Is Climate Focused
DWS partnered with, Ilmarinen, Finland’s largest private earnings-related pension insurance company, to launch the MSCI USA Climate Action Equity ETF, with Ilmarinen investing approximately 2 Billion USD, into the fund on its listing day, making it the largest US ETF launch ever and the largest ever climate investing ETF launch. The fund will track MSCI’s USA Climate Action Index, which comprises large and mid-capitalization companies in the United States assessed to be climate conscientious sector leaders, based on their emissions intensity, emissions reduction commitments, climate risk management and revenue from greener businesses. The investment is part of Ilmarinen’s effort to have a carbon-neutral investment portfolio by the end of 2035. MSCI USA Climate Action Equity ETF is listed on the NYSE Arca stock exchange with Ticker USCA.
